In 1992 Mt. Ashland experienced the benefits of an open-hearted community, when
 Lodge Mountain
thousands of people from throughout southern Oregon and northern California came together to raise the money needed to save the ski area. Those initial funds launched a new not-for-profit organization, the Mt. Ashland Association. In the subsequent 15 years Mt. Ashland Association has become a shining example of a community-based organization, known for its emphasis on family, and especially for our childrens' programs.

 Summer Service

We have continued to provide and grow our youth programs and our dedication to the kids who would never have an alpine experience without our outreach and support.  In the past three years alone, Mt Ashland ski area has welcomed:

• 2,153 kids through our Give A Kid A Lift scholarship program
• 7,178 through our After School ski and snowboard program
• 1,740 through Winter Science field trips
• 158 through Youth Summer Service and the 7500’ Crew apprenticeship
   programs

The Mt. Ashland staff and Board of Directors recognize—as did many of those who gave in 1992—that improvement is VITAL to the long term viability and sustainability of our ski area.  Thank you for your continued support.
