Siskiyou OutBack @ Mt. Ashland Ski Area
Jul 22 @ 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Siskiyou OutBack

Join us on July 22, 2017 high above the Rogue Valley for the 19th annual Siskiyou Out Back Trail Run (The SOB)! The race course is the Pacific Crest Trail and the series of roads that run parallel to the Trail.

There are three luscious flavors to choose from.  Enjoy the full flavor of the 50K.  For something less robust but still flavorful try the 15K. Or for those of you that want something truly piquant the 50 Mile distance awaits. Register early as we expect our events to fill quickly again this year. Registration is limited to 275 in the 50K, 250 in the 15K, and 175 in the 50M.

The Mt. Ashland Association will be serving dinner the evening before as the sun sets over the Rogue Valley, breakfast the morning of the race, and a delicious post-race meal.

Not interested in running? Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the views and comfortable temperatures as you welcome racers back from the wild Siskiyou backcountry![/vc_column_text][vc_gap][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_masonry_media_grid grid_id=”vc_gid:1495648077751-748556e4-4f94-10″ include=”11861,11864,11865,11867,11866,11863,11862,11868,11869″][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Mt. Ashland HillClimb Run
Aug 12 @ 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM

Mt. Ashland HillClimb

This 13.3 mile event begins in downtown Ashland’s beautiful Lithia Park (el 1900′) and climbs on tree-canopied dirt roads and trails to finish on the Mt. Ashland summit (7533′), for a total of more than 5,600′ of climbing–that’s over a vertical mile!

The Mt Ashland Hill Climb Run has the second most elevation gain of any continuous hill climb in the continental United States. The Pikes Peak Ascent in Colorado is the only event with more–7,800 feet. We have more elevation gain than even the Mt Washington Road Race in New Hampshire (4,727′).

Join us for lunch after the race in the Mt. Ashland parking lot. And maybe a dance contest?
