What Does My Child Need to Bring?

Please have your child prepared with:

  • Lift ticket or Season Pass. (Students who are 6 and under ski free, parents still need to pick-up a “Child’s Ticket” at a ticket window)
  • Rental or own equipment – labeled with your child’s name (duct tape works well)
  • Weatherproof jacket and pants
  • Helmet, gloves and under-layers
  • Goggles or sunglasses
  • Sunscreen and lip balm

Mt. Ashland strives to be an industry leader in mountain safety. To further this goal we strongly encourage students 17 and under in any ski or snowboard lesson program to wear ski and snowboard specific helmets during lessons. For your convenience, Mt. Ashland offers helmets for rent or sale.
