MT. ASHLAND SKI AREA
From atop the Siskiyou Crest, Mt. Ashland provides terrain for skiers and riders of every ability. Founded in 1964 and operated by a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Mt. Ashland is Southern Oregon’s hub for outdoor recreation. With a peak elevation of 7,533′ and over 200 acres of skiable terrain, find your happy place amongst our steeper terrain in The Bowl, one of dozens of groomed runs, in one of our tree glades or at the Learning Center.
Located just eight miles from I-5 near the Oregon-California border, Mt. Ashland features a full rental shop (with ski and snowboard rentals and tuning), several dining options, the T-Bar Lounge, a retail shop, and ski school.

Construction up at Mt. Ashland is on going, and we please ask that you watch for signage and steer clear of vehicles as you recreate in the area!
Bikers accessing the Bull Gap Trail must walk their bikes from the parking lot past the bottom of the Poma slope (it’s only 1/4 mile). We have a lot of heavy equipment and trucks rolling through as construction continues on Aisle 2 and Lithia chair.

The Lithia lift project is in full swing! This past week we saw concrete poured for tower foundations and the forms removed on the top and bottom terminals. The bullwheels just arrived and operator houses should be set in place soon. This brand new triple chair is set to turn this winter for skiers and riders to access more great mellower terrain.

❄️Help Kit Meet His Fundraising Goal! ❄️
Kit is asking for help from our ski community to raise funds for his Eagle Project to build a toboggan shed on the top of Sonnet Lift for the Mt. Ashland Ski Patrol!
An Eagle Project is a large-scale service project that Kit needs to plan, fundraise for, and manage to make Eagle Scout.
The money fundraised goes toward buying materials and purchasing food for the young scouts and ski patrollers who are assisting with construction. Any additional funds raised will be donated straight to Mt. Ashland Ski Patrol!
Kit is doing something incredible for Mt. Ashland Ski Area and Ski Patrol. He`s almost reached his goal and is doing one final push! If you are able to donate - click the link in our bio for Kit`s Go Fund Me.
