MT. ASHLAND SKI AREA
From atop the Siskiyou Crest, Mt. Ashland is Southern Oregon’s hub for outdoor recreation. Founded in 1964 and operated by a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, the Mountain offers access to hundreds of miles of trails for hiking, running and mountain biking. With a peak elevation of 7,533′ the alpine fun doesn’t stop there as the visitors can play 18 holes of exhilarating disc golf, free to play and open daily. This summer, Mt. Ashland’s Karen & Sid DeBoer Lodge will be open for Special Events from June through August consisting of everything from nostalgic Drive-In Movie Nights to Sip and Paints on the Bar Deck. Meet the 2025 Mt. Ashland Endurance Team! 🎉
We have an incredible group this year paving the way for endurance, volunteering their time and supporting Mt. Ashland Ski Area and the Rogue Valley! You can catch our team members leading group runs and rides, volunteering at Mt. Ashland races and just enjoying the fresh alpine air and incredible trail running and biking terrain that the Siskiyous are known for! 🏃♂️🚴♀️
We’re kicking off the 1st Group Run of the season this Saturday, June 21st at 9:00 am led by Matt Mogck! Get ready for a 6 mile, PCT to Mt. Ashland Summit Trail Running loop that’s guaranteed to get the heart pumping! It’s free to join and no RSVP necessary so come prepared with hydration and be ready for a run at higher elevation with some sections having a steeper grade with varying levels of difficulty.
The following Saturday’s Group Run will be lead by our very own Events Coordinator, Mary Snelgrove! She’ll be taking a group out running at 9:00 am with a turn around at the Grouse Gap Shelter. Expect another 6 miler with the meeting point at the front of the Karen & Sid DeBoer Lodge!
With spectacular views and new friends in adventure, these group runs and ride are a great way to get up to your Local Mountain Playground and explore the Alpine! Keep an eye out on social media and our events calendar for an update on who will be leading upcoming runs with all of the details.

Volunteer with Mt. Ashland this Summer and Fall! 🌲
Are you looking for free tickets to our 2025 Summer Events?! Mt. Ashland Ski Area has some exciting things coming up this summer and what better way to enjoy an event for FREE than by helping to put it on! Join the Events team as a Volunteer at Mt. Ashland to bring a brand new Concert Series, Drive-in Movie Nights, Oktoberfest and Haunting on Mt. Ashland to life! Better yet, as a thank you for your time and effort, we are offering Volunteers free tickets to other summer events or lift ticket vouchers for the 2025/26 Winter Season based on the amount of hours volunteered!

Sunday, June 29th drop in to hang out with Mt. Ashland Association and Southern Oregon Pride @sopridefestival in the Mt. Ashland Ski Area Parking Lot to celebrate Pride Month, inclusivity and equality!
Kick off the Pride Ride at 9am with a group run/ride followed by Mt. Ashland Pride Swag giveaways in the parking lot with music and N/A Beverages to go along with soaking in that fresh alpine air! The event is free to join. 🫶🏼

Saturday, July 5th join us in the Karen and Sid DeBoer Lodge from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm as Mt. Ashland presents The Sound of Music!
Grab your blankets and your pillows and get ready for a cozy movie night to inspire your summer mountain stoke!
Tickets are $7 for guests 6 years old and up. Kiddos 5 and under are FREE!
Doors Open at 4:30 pm
