This annual event is fun for the whole family and FREE! No need to ski or snowboard, come on up to watch the action on Lower Juliet! Dummy Downhill is sponsored by Valley Immediate Care.
CONTEST RULES:
– The dummy cannot weigh more than 125 pounds.
– It must be mounted on one snowboard or two skis.
– It cannot have glass, ceramic, or sharp metal objects.
– No explosives or fires allowed.
The Dummy must be submitted at Mt. Ashland by 10:00am on March 30th, 2024.
* Early Submissions are Strongly Encouraged
SCHEDULE
8am – 10am – Dummies delivered to the flat space near the large blue Mt. Ashland sign
10am – noon – Dummies are judged for appearance.
2pm – 3pm – Dummy parade and launching
JUDGING
A panel of judges will score Dummies on originality at about 11:00am. This will comprise 50% of the total score. A panel of judges will also score the Dummies on a downhill run at 2:00pm.
The downhill run comprises the other 50% of the total score. During the downhill, judges will score for a straight approach to the jump, the height the Dummy achieves and the landing. All criteria is totally subjective.
PRIZES
First Place – Mt. Ashland Season Pass for the 2023-24 season
Second Place – A $100 Mt. Ashland Gift Card
Third Place – A $50 Mt. Ashland Gift Card

The Great Mt. Ashland Egg Hunt returns! Free event, fun for the whole family.
If you have never participated in the Golden Egg Hunt before, here is the rundown!
A golden egg will be hidden in the Mt. Ashland Ski Area. Said golden egg, will have a 24-25 season pass certificate inside. To find the golden egg, you won’t need to venture into potentially hazardous areas, so no need to get close to mountain operations. We will also be offering a FREE egg hunt in the learning center for children 6 years old and under. Check out the schedule below.
Schedule for Golden Egg Hunt:
8:00AM-9:00AM: Head to the ticket or retail desk for the first clue to start your seeking adventure.
9:00AM: Let the Golden Egg Hunt begin! If the golden egg is not found by 12PM we will post stories on our social media for more clues.
12:00PM: Extra clue released on Facebook and Instagram stories if egg is not found.
Little Groms Egg Hunt in the Learning Center starts @ 3PM for children 6 & under:
Note: Come prepared with a basket for your egg treasures! Kids are allowed to ride up First Act without skis or a snowboard for this event.
2:30PM: First Act (Magic Carpet) will shut down to prepare for egg hunt
2:45PM: Egg hunt participants lineup at the blue arch in front of the learning center
3:00PM: Egg hunt begins!

The Got Guts Pond Skim, presented by Got Bag, is a chance for our bravest Mt. Ashland skiers and riders to attempt to ski or snowboard across a pond of icy water. Competitors will be judged on their skills, style, costume, and overall impression.
Open to 50 participants. Must be 12+ years of age to enter. Helmets required, ski poles prohibited during your run.
Opening for our main spectacle, the Public Lands Kayak Tug-of-War will be from 11 AM – 12 PM, followed by the Reverberays, performing a series of surf-rock hits. This hilarious tournament-style competition is open to ONLY 16 PARTICIPANTS. You must be 12 years or older to enter. Sign-up at the ticket desk.
Spectators are welcomed and encouraged to cheer on our pond skimmers and Kayakers alike on aisle one.
