Take a scenic drive up the Access Road and settle in the Mt. Ashland Ski Area parking lot with blankets, chairs, or your best truck-bed setup for a nostalgic night under the stars while watching a classic film on the big screen! Tickets: $30 per car – limited to a maximum of 8 people per vehicle OR to the capacity of the vehicle

Ticket sales are first come first serve
Tickets available online and at the gate while supplies last
NO smoking of marijuana on the premises. Smoking marijuana is illegal on USFS land and guests will be subject to felony.
Once entered, you may not leave and come back.
Large Vans and Trucks will be placed to the side and rear of the parking lot.

Although it was released in 1968, Night of the Living Dead remains one of the most influential horror films ever made. It established many of the conventions that later zombie, apocalypse, and survival horror stories would follow while helping shift horror from classic suspense to the more graphic, socially conscious films of the 1970s. Its groundbreaking violence, shocking themes, and independent production proved that low-budget films could achieve mainstream success and leave a lasting impact on the genre.
Beyond its historical importance, the film is widely praised for its intelligent storytelling and social commentary. Its bleak atmosphere, striking black-and-white cinematography, memorable opening and ending, and themes of fear, isolation, and societal conflict give it a depth that extends far beyond a typical horror movie. Ashland invites the brave to face their darkest fears in a haunted experience unlike any other. Guests will be guided through a haunted historic lodge basement to a chairlift ride that will lead them to a frightful walk in the woods. Full of scare actors, special effects and other frights, Mt. Ashland’s Nature trail will be transformed into an eerie experience far different from the day to day beauty of our ski area.
