It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Mt. Ashland will close for the season due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) global pandemic.
We do not make this decision lightly.
Our Management Team and Board of Directors considered many alternative options to continue to give our community access to the lifts. Under current guidance from local and federal health organizations, hundreds of ski areas across the country are making the same decision.
Mt Ashland offers a great escape that is still available to all in the form of snowy slopes for our back-country enthusiasts and sledding families willing to hike for their gravity-induced joy. We will continue to groom the slopes occasionally for you, but there will be no additional guest services. The use of the mountain is, of course, at your own risk.
We value our guests beyond words, therefore starting April 1st we will start our Annual Spring Season Pass sale, when we will offer current pass holders a special $299 season pass price. We will also offer $324 adult passes for the 2020-2021 season which reflects no price increase over last year. All remaining vouchers and other ticket products dated to expire this season will be honored next season.
We love our entire mountain community very much and feel that this is the only option to keep all of us safe until the next time we see YOU on the mountain.
