Founded in 1964 and operated as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization for three decades, Mt. Ashland is all about Local Mountain Fun. Explore steeper terrain in The Bowl, one of dozens of groomed runs, or find your happy place in one of our tree glades.

Located just eight miles from I-5 near the Oregon-California border, Mt. Ashland features a full rental shop (with ski and snowboard rentals and tuning), several dining options, the T-Bar Lounge, a retail shop, and ski school. Leave your troubles behind and head up to Mt. Ashland!

Andrew’s Morning Report: It’s a beautiful morning at the top of the Siskiyous. Currently is 50°, today will be sunny with temps in mid-60s. Bull Gap Trail is open to bikes & those on foot, expect some snow 3/4 mile down. PCT from near back gate to Grouse Gap is hikeable, with 3 downed trees and some walkable snow. Nature Trail & Summit Trail are not open yet. Sunset is at 8:41pm and the lodge & cafe is open 10am-9pm with full menu, frozen treats, and cold adult beverages! ...

The PCT is hikeable from our back gate to Grouse Gap if you don’t mind a little bit of snow and a few down trees. A cheeseburger in our cafe after will make it all worth it….we’re open again this weekend! ...

Andrew’s Summer Morning Report: We’ve got blue skies and sun with current temp of 48°. It will get into low 60s and another beautiful day on the Siskiyou Crest! Most trails are still snow-covered, Bull Gap Trail is clear down to utility building (wet & soft) for a 1.2-mile round trip, or explore the lodge area. Andrew’s Summer Morning Report: It’s the first day of the summer season! We’ve got blue skies and currently 46°- we expect it to reach the low 60s and be mostly sunny today, with a chance of storms at lunch. Sunset tonight is 8:36pm and the cafe is open 10am-9pm. Menu includes hot foods, ice cream, shaved ice, and adult beverages. Bull Gap Trail is clear down to utility building (1.2 mile round-trip) but soft and wet.
