The Siskiyou Out Back Trail Running Festival – July 10, 2021

The 21st Siskiyou Out Back Trail Running Festival takes place Friday and Saturday, July 9 and 10, 2021. There are 4 categories: 15 kilometers, 50 kilometers, 50 miles, and 100 kilometers. Each run begins and ends at the Mt. Ashland Lodge, at an altitude of 6,500 feet. From there the courses meander along the Pacific Crest Trail with breathtaking views of Mt. Shasta, Mt McLaughlin, and the Siskiyou and Cascade mountain ranges. The total course elevation for the 50K is about 4200 feet. The 50 mile features about 8400 feet of climbing and the 100K a whopping ~10,500 feet.

Anyone is welcome to come up and cheer the racers as they return to the finish line in front of the Lodge. Please bring a lawn chair and be respectful of the race organizers (they are all awesome volunteers!).
