This year’s theme is the Rock-n-Roll “Pinball Lizard”. The TeleLizard is a fundraiser ski race for all ages and ski levels. Two giant slalmon (GS) runs with a Tele-twist for all ski levels! Proceeds benefit Special Olympics. “New” open class for non-tele skiers. Registration/Bib pick up is at 8am-10am. First run: 11am. Second run: Approx. 1pm. Prizes will be awarded to the fastest men and women is their respective categories. Awards for best costume and biggest air and bib drawings for all participants to win one of many prizes provided by generous sponsors will also be presented (you must be present to win). Awards are held after the race on the 2nd floor of the main lodge. Beverages and snacks included.

In place of our traditional Sloan Cup format, we’ve decided to go a little less formal and even more festive. Our final event of the season will be Saturday, March 18th. Come join us for food, drinks, music, and dual ski racing! No fees or registration required!
Race head-to-head against friends and family on the course! Suit up in your fun, wacky costumes or cool retro gear, and leave it all out on the course. Multiple races are highly encouraged, take as many laps as you’d like!

Come one, come all to the 2023 Dummy Downhill at Mt. Ashland sponsored by Valley Immediate Care!
This event is fun for the whole family, even those who don’t ski or ride. Create a dummy that rides on a set of skis or a snowboard and launch it off of a massive jump to the delight and surprise of hundreds of onlookers.
CONTEST RULES:
- The dummy cannot weigh more than 125 pounds.
- It must be mounted on one snowboard or two skis.
- It cannot have glass, ceramic, or sharp metal objects.
- No explosives or fires allowed.
- The Dummy must be submitted at Mt. Ashland by 10:00am on April 1, 2023
EVENT SCHEDULE
8am – 10am – Dummies delivered to the flat space near the large blue Mt. Ashland sign
10am – noon – Dummies are judged for appearance.
2pm – 3pm – Dummy parade and launching
JUDGING
A panel of judges will score Dummies on originality at about 11:00am. This will comprise 50% of the total score. A panel of judges will also score the Dummies on a downhill run at 2:00pm.
The downhill run comprises the other 50% of the total score. During the downhill, judges will score for a straight approach to the jump, the height the Dummy achieves and the landing. All criteria is totally subjective.
PRIZES
First Place – Mt. Ashland Season Pass for the 2023-24 season
Second Place – A $100 Mt. Ashland Gift Card
Third Place – A $50 Mt. Ashland Gift Card
All entrants receive a prize!
