Get your vert on! The Mt. Ashland Hill Climb in 2025 is the 47th running of this historic event…13 miles long, 1 mile up!  The race starts in downtown Ashland and ends at the top of Mt. Ashland and is the 2nd longest continuous uphill race in the US.  

New this year: run or bike! Don’t miss out on the fun and run/walk/skip/bike a half marathon+ with over a mile of vert! Run in the footsteps of some big name racers such as: Stephanie Howe, Hal Koerner, Erik Skaggs, Camelia Mayfield (W’s course record holder in 2:07:00), Timothy Olsen, Max King (course record holder in 1:41:50), Karl Meltzer, Ian Torrence, Jenn Shelton, Cole Watson, and many more. Seeing the elites blaze by is fun, but we want to emphasize that this event is for EVERYONE. Challenge yourself and hike to the top! The cutoff times are pretty liberal, so hikers can make the trek as long as they keep moving. Race fees include a race shirt. Lunch is optional as an add on.

Join us on July 12 and 13, 2025 high above the Rogue Valley for the 26th annual Siskiyou Out Back Trail Running Festival (The SOB!). Explore the Pacific Crest Trail, The Siskiyou Mountains, spectacular views of Mt Shasta and the Cascades, and some of the trails that make Ashland a premier Pacific Northwest trail running destination with a variety of trail runs that start and end at the Mt. Ashland lodge. The SOB is a non profit race with a strong local community vibe that also welcomes runners from all over the world who want to experience our little trail running mecca. This year the SOB is excited to continue the two day festival format with everything Ashland, camping, food, music, and a mix of super approachable distances and courses along with the more difficult (and very beautiful) 100k course.

On the last two Fridays of July and August, come experience the perfect mountain escape with fantastic tunes, delicious food from local food trucks, and refreshing drinks from our very own T-Bar. The Mt. Ashland Summer Concert Series is an all-ages event, with ticket prices varying by performance. Stay tuned for the exciting lineup announcement and more event details!

Mt. Ashland Presents Drive-In Movie Nights, set in the Mt. Ashland Parking Lot with stunning views of the Siskiyou Summit and Mt. Shasta! Take a scenic drive up the Access Road, then settle in with your blankets, chairs, or your best truck-bed setup for a nostalgic night under the stars while watching a classic film on the big screen (We’re talking 40 ft x 26 ft!)  Bring your own or enjoy delicious snacks and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase. It’s the perfect throwback experience you won’t want to miss!

There’s nothing quite like the combination of fresh mountain air and a glass of wine to spark your creativity. Join us at Mt. Ashland for a Sip and Paint event on the Mt. Ashland Bar Deck with a beautiful mountain backdrop, featuring delicious wines courtesy of our sponsor and partner, Naumes Suncrest.

Check in on the second floor near the bar, where you’ll receive your painting supplies and select your “art studio” on the deck. We’ll provide everything you need, including a 12″ x 16″ canvas, acrylic paints, a palette, brushes, and wine glasses. However, feel free to bring your own brushes, paints, or canvas (up to 12″ x 16″), should you prefer. Please note, canvases larger than 12″ x 16″ are not permitted, and discounts are not available for those who bring their own materials or choose not to partake in the wine offering. We welcome guests of all ages—those under 21 can enjoy a refreshing selection of non-alcoholic beverages.

Challenge yourself for an epic morning of racing to the Mt. Ashland Summit! The race will start and finish in the Ski Area parking lot. The course will follow the Mt. Ashland Summit Trail, climbing nearly 1,000′ in about a mile.  Catch your breath at “the ball” and then descend back to the ski area using Forest Service Roads 300 and 20. There are three options this year: 1 lap, 2 laps or 3 laps! Each lap is approximately 3.9 miles at 921′ of vertical climb.
